New Delhi: देश की राजधानी दिल्ली में वायु प्रदूषण लगातार बढ़ता जा रहा है, जिससे लोगों को सांस लेने में कठिनाई हो रही है। 24 अक्टूबर को, दिल्ली का औसत वायु गुणवत्ता सूचकांक (AQI) 340 तक पहुँच गया। सामान्य परिस्थितियों में, यह स्तर 50 के आसपास रहता है। AQI 50 से अधिक स्वास्थ्य के लिए हानिकारक है, और AQI 300 अत्यधिक खतरनाक मना जाता है। इस स्तर पर लोगों में गंभीर बीमारियों का खतरा बढ़ जाता है। डॉक्टरों का सुझाव है कि ऐसे में घर से बाहर कम से कम निकलें और काम करने से बचें।

स्वास्थ्य पर प्रभाव
दिल्ली एनसीआर में प्रदूषण का लोगों के स्वास्थ्य पर गंभीर प्रभाव पड़ रहा है। सुबह के समय भारत गेट पर सुबह की सैर, व्यायाम और साइकिलिंग के लिए बड़ी संख्या में लोग आते हैं, लेकिन अब इस समय भारत गेट पूरी तरह से सुनसान हो गया है। एक साइकिल सवार ने बताया कि वह प्रदूषण के कारण साइकिल चलाने में कठिनाई महसूस कर रहा है, जिससे उसे सांस लेने में कठिनाई हो रही है और उसकी आंखों में जलन हो रही है।
श्वसन रोगियों की संख्या में वृद्धि
दिल्ली के अस्पतालों में श्वसन रोगियों की संख्या में 30 से 40 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि देखी गई है। श्वसन रोग विशेषज्ञों ने बताया कि बच्चे और वृद्ध लोग प्रदूषण के दुष्प्रभावों के प्रति सबसे अधिक संवेदनशील होते हैं। उन्होंने लोगों को सलाह दी है कि वे घर से बाहर न निकलें और धूल से दूर रहें। दिल्ली का AQI पिछले एक सप्ताह से ‘खराब’ श्रेणी में है। बुधवार सुबह, राष्ट्रीय राजधानी के आसमान में एक मोटी धुंध छा गई थी। दिन में 3 बजे, शहर का AQI 367 दर्ज किया गया, जो ‘बहुत खराब’ श्रेणी में आता है। कई निगरानी स्टेशनों पर वायु गुणवत्ता पहले से ही ‘गंभीर’ श्रेणी में पहुँच चुकी है।
डॉक्टरों की राय
गुरुग्राम के पारस हेल्थ अस्पताल के वरिष्ठ डॉक्टर अरुनेश कुमार ने कहा, “हम श्वसन रोगियों की संख्या में भारी वृद्धि देख रहे हैं। अस्पतालों में 30 से 40 प्रतिशत अधिक मरीज आ रहे हैं। बढ़ते वायु प्रदूषण का स्तर इस वृद्धि के लिए मुख्य रूप से जिम्मेदार है। ठंडे मौसम और स्थिर हवा के कारण PM2.5, PM10 और नाइट्रोजन डाइऑक्साइड (NO2) जैसे प्रदूषकों का स्तर वातावरण में बढ़ता जा रहा है।”
डॉ. अंशिता मिश्रा, मौलाना आजाद मेडिकल कॉलेज की निवासी डॉक्टर, ने कहा कि वायु प्रदूषण के प्रभाव अब दिखने लगे हैं और ओपीडी में मरीज सूखी खांसी और आंखों में जलन की शिकायत लेकर आ रहे हैं। डॉ. मिश्रा ने आशंका व्यक्त की कि दीवाली के बाद और पड़ोसी राज्यों में पराली जलाने के कारण श्वसन संबंधी मामलों की संख्या और बढ़ सकती है।
सलाह और उपाय
डॉक्टरों ने लोगों को मास्क पहनने, बाहरी गतिविधियों से बचने और पटाखे जलाने से दूर रहने की सलाह दी है। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि बाहर जाने से पहले अच्छी सन्स्क्रीन लगाना चाहिए। डॉ. मिश्रा ने चेतावनी दी कि दिल्ली जैसे महानगरों में खराब वायु गुणवत्ता के कारण बच्चों में अस्थमा और एलर्जी का जोखिम दिन-प्रतिदिन बढ़ रहा है।
दिल्ली का बढ़ता AQI और प्रदूषण का स्तर न केवल स्वास्थ्य के लिए खतरनाक है, बल्कि यह लोगों के दैनिक जीवन को भी प्रभावित कर रहा है। सरकार और संबंधित एजेंसियों को इस मुद्दे पर तत्काल ध्यान देने की आवश्यकता है ताकि दिल्लीवासियों की स्वास्थ्य सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित की जा सके।
